Well I've stripped the body panels back to bare metal and removed a lot of the body sealant, it's time to start masking up and getting ready to put some primer on.

Getting the door ready to replace all the old dried out sealant

Door stripped back and prepared for undercoat

Cab undercoated and new joint sealant applied

Joint sealant across the back of the cab

Guards and door blocked back for the first time and minor imperfections corrected. Reapplied primer and let dry for a period of time. This hasn't been too bad that I have to go away to work for periods of time, because it gives everything time to cure and I find that there are fewer sink backs in the preparation surface.

Door after first block down, with my dog coming to inspect to make sure I'm doing a good job.
